Overall I think we wont hear a whole lot of what Dubas is really up to. I mean ***nobody saw Boosh coming ****or Muzzin or really any of the trade type moves. He does tend to keep things relatively quiet. Why he was rather pissed over the Chicago talk details getting leaked and out there.

I expect he might have one big move up his sleeve just before or at the draft.

He seems to use it as to say it's pretty much done but doesn't it actually mean "it's everything else that it could be but it's not done".... so basically it's not done?

Everything that's required for it to be done is in place, it's just not finalized. Like if a team is up 4-1 in a game 7 with 10 minutes to go, the series is all but done, all that's left is for the clock to run out and make it official.

But yeah, there are many idioms in English that don't make much literal sense.
