Second half of the 3rd is where you should see some get picked.

are there any interesting goalies..? don't even recall hearing one's name for the draft lol
- Pat1993

Not very good this year. Last year had some really strong goalies...but goalies are (frank)ing stupid so this draft could have nobody picked until the 3rd round and randomly have 3 HOF's. Teams would need to have faith that Havelid is Saros and not all the other under 5'11 goalies that don't exist in the NHL.

You'se gots to build from the back
- jugkope

I think the new habs management won't necessarily be applying this kind of philosophy to build the team, they'll want to try something different than the Bergevin era, and focus more on goal scoring...

That shouldn't be a problem unless you think all three of those guys will still be in the AHL in 3 years

yeah, goaltending is probably the most crapshoot position for the draft... goalies are a different kind of animal.

Yeah there's that. My main concern is Shane "I don't look too great out there because I'm laying back and processing the game" Wright.

That's why I like Nemec, I think he's gonna make his partners look good discreetly and not get paid the ultra bucks. They might need to replace the partners from time to time as THEY get the big bucks but it should still be manageable.

He does look great. It's just that he doesn't look like McDavid whom he had a similar rookie season to as prestigious 15 year old exemption status players. He killed the U18's and looked like he was going to be a star again in the U20's.
