Technically yes. Not the best draft year 2022 for that however. 2023 looks solid and I would rely on Allvin's scouting to get that done. Personally I would look hard at the 2023 draft and just fill a few needs for the coming season. A Miller move at TDL next season (if need be) might net us an absolute excellent pick. Don't care much for what's coming in 2022.

I just googled 2023 mock drafts and its all forwards. Most only had 5 or 6 D in the first round. There could be a dozen in this draft. 2 stud RHD sit near the top of this one.

In the one mock draft, 16th I believe was the highest ranked D.

Makar (through his agent) already made a statement saying he wasn’t there and would have participated in the investigation if asked. Didn’t know Kyrou cleared himself. Mete, Foote, Fabro and Gadjovich all cleared.

I read an article on tsn at one point that said only 2 players from that team hadn’t played in the nhl at all. So there’s at least 6 players involved in this that play in the nhl. There’s no doubt in my mind that it’ll all come out eventually and that those players will lose their careers.
