Kind of a Yeo Yeo
- VanHockeyGuy

I think Yeo has some talent as a teacher/developer of young players. His head coaching is archaic and predictable. The rare times that the Flyers scored last year, he always put the worst 4th line in hockey out. Yeo had a lousy breakout. No quick short passes to get the puck out. Most of the time the puck went up the boards with the other team waiting for it. When they didn’t do that it was the long flip or stretch passes with slow guys that never worked. They didn’t have a guy to carry the puck into the ozone, so it was dump and chase with slow guys and no physicality or forecheck. VAN has to hope that Boudreau is successful and Yeo can get out of the way.

Allvin: “Brock is a big part of this franchise going forward. Obviously he went through a tough time last year. We believe he can be much better going forward.” #Canucks @TSNHockey

“Jim Rutherford on Brock Boeser signing : A good compromise was made by both sides. This negotiation was hard, you had the qualifying offer, it was hard to find a middle ground but we did and we are very happy. Émilie Castonguay did a really good job for us.”

I really thought he was a goner because of his lack of foot speed, given Rutherford’s comments about team speed, but happy that he’s still a part of the Canucks.

Great pick by Benning and company!!

Benning would have paid the 7.5M no question.

If he can stay healthy, I'm going out on a limb and saying he will pot 35 goals next year

Benning would have forgotten about the QO and given him 8 x 8.

Allvin's presser you can get the sense. They are going to try very hard to keep him.

You are giving my "no thanks" to Yeo a ringing endorsement here 😆

So we draft a few kids, sign JTM, maybe sign Bear.

JTM signed, doesn't leave much quality assets to get younger and upgrade.

Why not, Aquilini made a profit last year. The benefit of having a team in Canada and fans that love drinking the Kool-aid.

People in Minny rave about what a nice guy Yeo is. But the guy is a lousy head coach. But in Minnesota nice the nice guy tag matters more than the lousy coach tag.

Goal is the playoffs, if it's a first round exit still a win.

Problem now is peak season ticket marketing time, there's really nothing to entice season ticket sales.

Fair enough. Brock is a player I can’t stand to watch but the team sucks anyways. So hopefully brighter times ahead in 3 or 4 years
- CanuckDon

Why do you care? You already stated that you don't know if you are a Canucks fan anymore.... If you are unsure, the answer is no. Snort some bath salts and go buy a Coyotes jersey.

Just seen they re-signed Boeser, leaving them with just over 2 million in capspace, only 10 forwards signed.
Someone has to go, unless New Jersey was insisting on Brock being resigned.

Go Allvin Go.

Miller is gone. He's played his last game as a Canuck....

Van will draft with their 6 picks. I think Bear wants to come to Van more then Van want him.

Miller isn't the only option. Garland could be another. Won't get same return.

Can start the season and see where internal options are at. Haven't had a development camp in a while. Benning always had surprises. Some good, as many bad.
