He knew he was on his last legs, he went all in.

Holding 9-8 pre-flop.

Anyways, kind of sums up his mentality and his grip on reality. Yes, he made the team better in the moment but we'll be paying for it for years to come.

What was he chasing?

5th from last?

Benning & Torts gave me immense entertainment and laughter. They were both bad for the team but the comedy was epic! I'd always tune in for the Tort's presser after a loss. With Benning it was pretty funny whenever he made himself available. You could tell he loathed being interviewed.

I still can't believe our blueberry farming slumlord owner signed off on paying the cheques for OEL deal to happen.

That is horrible.

What is with you and Nucker and your love affair with Americans and especially one that are of the small variety?

Trade Roomers:

"Rob Simpson of Vancouver Hockey Now reports the Canucks have interest in a Tyson Barrie trade. Evan Bouchard and Cody Ceci played well last season for the Edmonton Oilers which has made Barrie expendable. Plus Bouchard is due a big raise next offseason.

Vancouver has no depth on the right-side, which makes Barrie a perfect fit. Barrie has a very affordable $4.5-milliion Oilers salary cap hit over the next two seasons.

What could Vancouver offer in a trade for Barrie? The Canucks could offer up goalie prospect Michael DiPietro in a Barrie trade. If the Oilers are not interested in prospects and just want draft picks, the Canucks could offer a second and fourth round pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft."

Dog days of summer started with a bang. I hear BC is an amazing province. I don't know why they spend so much time whining on here. 😆

I live in MB and can't smoke weed. I think I should be the one whining.

- manvanfan

Love BC grew up in Van but have a soft spot for the Okanagan. Lived on the Island for awhile but would never go back to live just for visits....or the lower mainland. Whining is indoctrinated in BC now...pretty much part of the culture growing up hence what we see and read in here lol

You are not missing anything by not partaking of weed if anything you are saving brain cells...another indicator of the downward spiral in BC.

I read that they’re most likely not re-signing him, Malkin, they could make a play for JT?

I read somewhere that the Oilers should trade Barrie to Seattle for a 4th just to save the cap. Yet the Canucks should pay a 2nd and 4th...

Marino is really not the center piece of the trade. He is a top 4 RD that can play now though.

Drinking is worse for losing brain cells, and even among weed smokers that drink they tend to drink less with the weed.

Then again. It also matters how many brain cells you had to begin with and exactly how functional they are.

You're posting on a public forum and have been for many years. I think playing the smart one of the bunch card won't be that effective.

There's a lot of teams i'd rather trade him to. If i'm trading him to Pittsburgh it's a much different ask .
