I don't get it. I mean, I haven't been following closely the last few years, but there is a recency bias for Slafkovsky that scares me. He really looks like an uni-dimensional player...and his Liiga numbers are subpar.

I have a bad feeling about this.

The sudden jump from top 10 to top 3 to first overall in 4 months is insane.

hopefully Hughes and his team will have done their homework and are ready to make the best decision possible. their thought process shouldn't be influenced by what Bob Mckenzie thinks lol

System is down company wide, trying to do some file cleaning, lol

Also both game day this week are double headers ( Fastball softball) cause it (frank)ing rained too much in the last weeks, i'm afraid i'm too old to have TWO double headers in the same week !

Edit : your going to help the poor this summer with all that free time ?

most likely, yes. the only thing that could perhaps have an impact on their decision would be a potential negotiation for a trade or something, but like we mentioned before it's unlikely that top picks will get moved around.

Saw a rumour yesterday about Josh Anderson. Apparently the Islanders are interested, and ready to give their 13th overall selection for him.

Anthony Beauvillier is a name also floating around. Could be part of the deal, but I guess the Habs would have to add something..

Beauvillier would give the Habs a roster player with Anderson gone.

Still don't think it's a good deal for the Habs...Maybe it will depend on who is still on the board at 13th. Maybe if Cutter Gauthier is still there (I doubt it)

- stinger67

Habs have enough roster players.

Dadonov- Drouin - Hoffman - Byron
Caufield - Gallagher - Anderson - Armia

that's 8 wingers. no spot for a kid to make the team.
and except Caufield, they're all making at least 3.5M crazy.

Is it not based on what scouts think?

Anyway, reading rds it feels like scouts felt in love with him and can't think straight. They can't even find him some weaknesses. That's extreme.

said it before, Liga is played on a big ice. he also was playing on a 4th line with limited PP time.
when he played at the Worlds or the Olympics (small ice) his numbers were much better.

No, no. Mckenzie is not giving his opinion, me think. His ranking is based on what scouts around the league think. At least I was told so.

oh, well sure, but what I'm saying is the habs should have enough information to make their own decision, this list shouldn't have any influence over theirs.
