I always marveled at MacKinnon, he is a beast and very fun to watch. Loving some Nichkushkin as well...that guy brings it every shift! Those two guys stood out to me, and of course Makar is a complete gem. Fun team, well deserved championship.

Now, Joe can relax for a day...then get to it...that is a $97.5m roster if all resigned at market rates projected by Evolving Hockey.

3 years and $12m would be a great deal for him. He's a very good defensive forward so even if he never produces offensively like this again, he isn't a bad investment.

ESPN is an embarrassment to hockey.

Sean Mcdounough was terrible and Ferraro was worse. Neither seemed to be paying attention or offered anything insightful. Just many dull pauses as they could not understand what was going on half the time.

The NHL should be ashamed. Missed a great opportunity to showcase so many amazing players and story lines. Instead, they spent all their time cheerleading Colorado and downplaying what Tampa was doing and has done over the past few years.

They should have been ambassadors for new fans just tuning in to add some back story to players to connect with fans. Instead they were like 2 dorks at a middle school lunch table. The young lady on their team did a good job. I give her full marks.

I'm not gonna female dog about the officiating, players being hurt, or Tampa being gassed after playing so much over the last three seasons. The best team won. Dallas Stars or Montreal Canadiens are not on the same level as the Avs.

I picked them to win it all prior to the playoffs. I thought the Oilers looked pretty good after dismantling the Flames but the Avs kicked the poop out them. I knew they weren’t gonna be stopped by Tampa.
