The fact that tampa identified mcdonagh as the one to move kinda says something. And he brought other qualities to the table in addition to the shot blocking. It's not a bad attribute, but if its the lead in someones profile thats cause for concern. Sergachev was actually middle of the pack in shot blocks/60 in the playoffs.

A 6th for Zaitsev? Its not bad its just...why? He's got 2 years at a cap hit well above his worth.

They would need one more forward, 3 more defensemen, and another goaltender if Olofsson is signed at $5M per.

If all 5 of those players are at $1M each, they would need a bit more than roughly a million to hit the cap floor.

yeah they were right thats my bad. I still think after adding a goalie, olofsson and bryson the remaining amount to reach past the floor (enough to not be a problem for call ups) shouldn't be all that much.
