Out with Covid.

Well, if those guys keep kissing that cup in the same place it’s bound to happen again..

You can say whatever you want but that's the best looking cup in ALL sports.
Those who disagree can bite me.

its not even close, either. you are holding history when u lift it. other leagues give out a new trophy every year.

that's a really good point, it makes it so much more significant.

Yeah, see. I''d never wish that on anyone.

Don't even find it funny on any level.

yeah, but I look at Vasilevsky who still has plenty of good hockey left in him if he stays healthy, and it reminds me of a Carey Price on top of his game who was giving his team a chance to win despite the rather poopty roster in front of him.
- Pat1993

be good enough to squeak into the playoffs and knocked out in the 1st round is fine by me.

tho, vasilevsky looked pretty ordinary in these playoffs.

He was good, just not his usually great game in / game out.

All those games played take a toll, physically and mentally.

Still the best goalie int he game IMO.

Lehky has 4GWG in these playoffs. You need 16 wins to get the cup, Lehkonen sealed the deal in a quarter of those, clutch!
- Karine Hains

Not to mention what he did last year.

This is not a coincidence.

I get what you're saying, he did look more "human" than usual at times, but I'd describe his performance as being more than just ordinary, considering how good his opponents were.

Yup. There's a reason why Sakic wanted him so bad. It's a shame he couldn't win one with the Habs.

He is not respecting Canada and the Canadian teams…

It is all about US for Bettman.

I don't particularly like the man, but I can respect what he has accomplished for the league and owners.

The player strikes tho... that hurt a lot.

No, it is 100% about making the owners richer.

There is more revenue growth potential in the US than there is in Canada.

Same here, I wouldn't wish COVID on anyone.

I would make an exception for Putin however but that's another story.

he was downright terrible on the road in the playoffs. a SV below .900 is not good. He was better on home ice but he was getting beat blocker side with regularity.

he definitely isn't to blame for the loss though, in the end TB's offense came up short.

i blame the owners more than bettman. he is there at the behest of the owners. he didn't make those decision unilaterally.
