Colorado went really heavy into analytics after getting rid of Patrick Roy who was pretty against them. Most of the good moves came after that.

Boudreau isn't 100% sold on analytics either.

After watching that series, I lost a lot of respect for that team, from coach Cooper and his interviews, to Stamkos and his shooting puck at the ref, to Cirelli allegedly crosschecking the linesman for not calling an icing, to Pat Maroon and his classless acts and of course the Kucherov tantrum.

Seems like a pretty classless and entitled group, IMO

Drance and Dayal put out a 10 point plan on the athletic for him to read and figure it all out.

What he should do is just copy and paste the points so we all have that same info

In the article I just read, it didn't specify whether or not Bednar was either. Just that Roy basically "spit in the face of analytics"

For coaches it's probably more about in game stats and maybe something they can adjust too. Which Bruce said he was fine with learning more about them.

That championship had absolutely nothing to do with drafting in the top 5 where they got MacKinnon, Landeskog, Makar and Byram, nor does it have to do with getting Lehkonen, Cogliano etc, it was all about analytics.

You should be concerned about your team(s), who are nowhere close to being competitive.

That's a make you think deal. Only reason I wouldn't do it is the Canucks lack of D and trading the only prospect one we have. But I would think long on it.

If Tampa was smart the should trade Kucherov and some other veteran players to start another rebuild. They looked gassed in the finals.

I would actually start moving out pieces. They got 2 Cups out of this era, so really it would be time to sell off some older vets. Stamkos, Kilorn and Mcdonogh if you can move them. Their team age is getting up there, so sell high.
