Will Scouch in 2019 recap of the TB draft. "A good analytics pick by the Lightning" - manvanfan
So good, they didn't bother wasting a contract on him.
Lol.
I am all for taking flyers on a bunch of unsigned draft picks and the Euro/NCAA free-agents, as long as they will play in Abbotsford.

Not as if an AHL contracts has any actual bearing on the NHL Canucks.
If they do start to produce, hopefully Van's smart enough to sign them before someone else.

I just jnd it a bit odd that 2 Swedes were signed to nhl contracts, that won't play in the NHL, yet theis signing, amongst others, are good ahl contracts.
If one of these kids services are needed, they sure as fuck aren't flying someone from Sweden/Russia to fill that spot.
If you are smart enough, you can figure out what I am saying, if you aren't, then I will have to classify you as a Nucker alias.

Allan Walsh

Gary Bettman continually touts the NHL’s triple hard cap, salary cap system as ushering in “parity”. A leading hockey journalist sent this to me- “Not so sure about parity. I've spent a poop ton of playoff nights in the same 3 or 4 cities over the last 10 yrs.”
How about the disappointment when he isn't traded?

More like, more of the same, not capitalizing on an opportunity to get better.
Unlike some, I am apprehensive about this mgmt group and will not be waving pom-poms likes some others tend to do.
I have cheered for this team, since just before Dale Tallon was the Canucks 1st ever draft choice, doesn't mean I have to like everything they do.
I Remer back in the day, when players, by fans opinion, like Lars Molin and Petri Skriko were considered untouchable, yet the fanbase was fine with trading Cam Neely.

As I recall, it was because we thought we were getting a 100 point center in Pederson back, not the broken down gimp that actually showed up. If Pederson was as good as he was supposed to be, nobody would be saying that trade was the worst in Canucks history.

The Canucks definitely thought that, but, as a Canuck fan 1st, and a Bruin fan 2nd, I was shocked that the Canucks thought that was a good trade.
Hearing Brock might be on his way to 1 of the California teams, LA or Anaheim.
Both teams looking at how weak the Pacific is
and want to give the young kids a goalscorer
