I’m still keeping my hopes of Bergeron until I see a decision by him. 🤞
It’ll be out of left field that’s for sure |

As long as Nemeth and all of his cap hit leaves I will be pleased. |

His buyout is only one million. I say that because who in the hell is going to want him I want him gone more for the 6th spot to open up for Jones or Robertson. Not even so much as his salary |

They need to be free from buyout money. It would start next year if they can unload Nemeth. |

I’d say it’s more likely he’s bought out. I get what you’re saying, but his specifically doesn’t kill us
He cannot be a ranger tho that’s for sure |

Buying him out doesn't save enough. They'd be better off trading him and retaining a million because it would take less time for the money to come off the books. 2years vs 4 with a cap hit of 0 next year for some reason.
I still think Drury finds a way to trade him. There is somewhere they can send him. They did it to Staal. |

I believe Nemeth being buried in the AHL would make his cap hit 1,375,000. This is his cap hit minus the buried threshold. Buying him out is negligible savings but with how tight everything is it might actually matter, specifically next year. But with one year left it might be easier to trade him, especially if he is sick of playing in the minors and opens it up to more teams. . |

this will get people buzzing, from Arthur Staple in Athletic:
Artemi Panarin
This was a tough category to place the team’s leading scorer in. And given Panarin’s full no-move clause for the remaining four years of his contract, it’s darn near impossible to see him going anywhere. However, two league sources said Drury was vocally unhappy about Panarin’s play in the postseason, when he had 16 points in 20 games but not the consistent impact anyone around the Rangers hoped for or needed. If there’s a rift, Panarin could ask out, as near-impossible as it would be to move this mammoth contract. |

Everyone sucks this time of year. Clickbait bullpoop.
Back to the Nemeth thing, why the (frank) is his contract back loaded? Cheap/poor teams will want him even less with him making 3.5mil actual money in the last year. What a stupid (frank)ing contract.

only if he wants to
if he suddenly states that he'd like to be traded, then it's a whole new ball game
but, I have always gotten the impression that he loves it here |

TAMPA — So is this how it ends? With a frame-by-frame breakdown of the fatal goal, as if Abraham Zapruder was filming from the grassy knoll?
A bit dramatic from the Tampa Bay Times |

doesn't it seem like Pittsburgh and Tampa, team's with multiple Cup in recent memories have the whiniest people covering them?

This seems more to me that they're criticizing the people who have to sort through the goal frame-by-frame to find something wrong? I guess I'd have to read the tone of the full article before saying that but just that snippet seems that way to me. |

Sure but to mention hockey and the video of the assassination of a president in the same breath is hilarious. Also, the tone was “waAhhhhhhhhhhhh” |
