Which one has a better chance to be there at 16 - Buff36
I would guess neither, but from what I've read/heard maybe Nazar? Teams are really high on Kasper. Mckenzie mock will say a lot but the "plugged in" folk all seem to be pretty confident Kasper goes in the top 10 |

Kasper is a interesting one, very well rounded player, but will the offense catch up to the talent. |

He's got the intangibles scouts believe will translate into offensive output at the pros (being a menace, drawing penalties, excelling at battles in tough areas).
I think some teams like him at 8-12 cause at that point all the star talent is gone so if you can get a close "sure thing" thats valuable to them. |

Where's Cutter going, if those 2 go top 9, who falls a bit. |

Kasper might go before 9, but Nazar going would mean one of Lekkerimaki, Savoie or Jiricek falls that far. Feels unlikely unless somethings changed.
The Wings would have to be confident that Nazar can be a C at the NHL level and that Lekkerimaki can't. |

Nazar has been in the wings background his whole life they know every single thing about him and with him being Committed to Univ of Michigan I can see this happening pretty easy
And it's already been Heavily leaked they will take him . |

I dont think he's been linked, his projection is all over the place. Its just people putting 2 and 2 together. Yzerman's not one to get bogged down by this. If there's someone he likes more on the board, then as far as he's concerned, Nazar is from Buenos Aires. |

Doesn't feel like a draft to be stressed about. Any way it falls, they'll have good options at 9. Unless everything goes wrong, 16 looks good too.
Better is question is how you feel about the guys drafting.

I have high hopes with the department that has been put together, think they had a good draft last year. |

Im interested to see your list for this draft Category for 1-3
We had some serious agreements about you not putting Raymond in that elite group .
We will probably have disagreements but not like in 2020

McGroarty at 16 I could see, itd be a reach at 9. Even Gauthier I think, but less surprised. I think they really want a centre and if they can't get one that isn't a reach, probably Nazar or Lekkerimaki. |

category 1-3? like tiers?
Full disclosure, I dont watch these guys. I just look into their statistical profiles, run some comparison and just look for outliers either way. Like when a forward produces like a top 10 pick but everyone has him ranked 25, why? And vice versa.
In Raymond's case, the EV numbers in his draft year were kinda ordinary, so I thought top 5 was kind of a reach. But that's only one part of a scouting report. Its also the only one I had access to. |

As in Gauthier at 9 and McGroarty at 16.
I'm hoping Howard is available at 28 and they pick him. |

yeah he profiles well. Tbh, less concerned with the picks and more with the player development. seems to be their big weakness. Hopefully it's better now. |

I believe he had him at the ( Maybe) section in category 3 but described his skating and skill will be the reason to make it which was correct.
Seth Jarvis was very underrated in that draft beacuse of everyone else .
Byfield is giving me logan brown vibes now which stinks

He advocated a bit for the Sabres to consider him at 8th overall when most mocks had him in the 20's, then Carolina took him at 13. |
