good point, although I'd argue that defensively speaking Edmundson is usually more sound in his own end, and brings a physical aspect that Petry doesn't really have.

Savard, the rise of Romanov, the coming of Guhle... add in Harris and Barron and all the rest... Edmundson is likely the more redundant veteran, with the higher trade value.

Plus you have Wideman to save it all.



Not saying they trade Edmundson this year, but I think at the next trade deadline, I see it done (unless there is a surprise extension, but I cannot see that with all the kids coming).
