With the Price situation I am sure Primeau will see a lot of action next season

sign Montembeault for cheap, he'll be Allen's backup. problem solved.

I have no clue what the return will look like but Hughes has been doing a pretty good job so far, I trust he'll come up with something noice.

I know Detroit may trade Zadina (or so I read). Would Hughes be interested there? Maybe with another pick...

I think it depends more on Allen's health than Price (who likely will not be ready for the start of the season, if he plays at all).
- Mashadar

if he doesn't start the season I just hope they won't be keeping the "suspense" of a possible return for another whole frickin' season, yet again.

I would find it curious for a rebuilding team to acquire an aging and expensive dman while trading away a young prospect, but crazier poop has happened I guess.

This is gonna drag on... I say at least til late December (hopefully, not longer), then if Price is not back, maybe then he officially "un-officially" retires to LITR.

If it’s Montebeault I would rather they get someone elsewhere

He is an OK back-up, likely cheap 1-year easy to dispose contract, so I am fine with that.

That I agree plus DET have a few RHD already, I do however want to see Vrana on this team

dp and i are really milking this milk thing.

I could talk about it all day everyday πŸ˜πŸ˜‚.
You've had nothing until you try it right from the milk tank chilled. 4+% fat, 3.4% plus protein. Might as well have steel beams for bones πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

is that pasteurized, or is it best to keep all the good bacteria in there?

I've never been totally sold on the guy. Watched him numerous times in Halifax during junior. Lacks consistency and could put up points against weaker teams, but top teams he was kinda invisible. Never drove the net either. Saying this, he certainly may figure these things out, but the few Detroit games I watched, it still seemed to be the way.

As a kid, I remember going to the cow farms with my parents to "illegally" buy fresh milk.

We would put them in giant mason jars, and by the next day, there was an inch of cream at the top of every jar.

And it still smelt of cow.

(frank) that was awesome.

Non pasteurized. A slow pasteurization at a lower temperature is better.... you keep more of the good bacteria. But it's actually illegal to sell unpasteurized milk in canada. Apparently the fear of that like one in a million chance of someone getting quite sick from it was to great a risk, so now it's all pasteurized. It's still healthy.... just not as nutrient rich or bacteria rich.

huh, interesting. I'd like to try it one day, if the risk of getting salmonella or other bad poop is that low.

but yeah milk is awesome, even if it's pasteurized.

I am not a milk drinker anymore, but as a kid I devoured the stuff.

I can understand why my patents went and got the illegal stuff, the 4 of us drank so much milk.

In fact, I cannot remember the last time I drank milk, unless it was a hot chocolate or something like that.
