trying to copy the TB model. if i ran the numbers correctly, it is LTIR afterall, vegas will potentially have Weber's cap hit to get under the cap and have some money for signings. i think they gain around 5M in usable space after using LTIR gymnastics.

Two different applications. Vegas will LTIR him and exceed the cap.
Arizona would have been using the contract to get to the cap floor.
