Scottish friend having some troubles? - pete26
belgium. him and his family were in a car accident caused by a big truck coming the other way. long time ago.
he was okay, but his daughter took the hit.
after months of waiting, she finally had a 1st operation a week ago, woke up 3 days later.
had another one today.
new jaw, new tongue, new nose, eyes fixed... and I'll stop here because there is more. you get the picture.
when awake, she now communicates with a headset and a beeper. 1 for yes, 2 for no.
months of re-education are scheduled for the rest of the year.
brave little girl who got to hold her donor's hand before going in.

But what's the point of complaining? What does it accomplish?
Accept whatever happens, and move on.

meh, I actually like cheering against them, makes it kinda fun since I'm not really cheering for another team. although seeing Lehkonen raise the cup would be kinda cool...

I don't have to tell you that Kate (that's the kid's name) was the star of the hospital when she checked in last week. all the staff went to see here, flowers, gifts...
she's in a special room where they control the air and everything, big glass so we can see in the room. today before the operation she was listenning to her favorite music, playing drums on her bed. doctors not sure how she could considering the amount of pain killers she had to take.
