They do not play again until Saturday. Tampa will be as acclimated to mile high air as they can be by Saturday.

For sure but like i said before that team reminds me a lot of the 2010 Blackhawks

Toews and Kane were much younger. Hajalmarsson Bufglyien and Ladd were kids.

What does the term "inside the house" mean?
Between and below the face off dots?

- 35Tony0

He means the "home plate area" inside, that extends from inside the circles to the front. I hope that helps.

Much like the Hawks went with an outside agency to help hire a GM looks like PHI did the same in searching for a coach. Also looks like Philly has called about Dcat!!

https://www.crossingbroad...a-as-next-head-coach.html

The Flyers are entering a very, very critical month ahead. The 2022 draft, the red hot offseason trading period (I’ve heard the Flyers have checked in with Chicago on the availability of 24-year old sniper Alex DeBrincat) and the opening of free agency will help begin to shape the future of the Flyers franchise.

Normally, a general manager and a small staff of his assistants are responsible for hiring a head coach. Many times, GMs and coaches are linked together – as in, if one goes, you can bet the leash gets shortened on the other as well.

But this coaching hire may be different.

Again, according to multiple sources, Scott hired an outside agency to provide expert consultation in search of the next bench boss.

This might seem crazy, or outrageous at first, but the reality is, more and more teams in professional sports are turning to these outside executive search agencies to help fill various positions to attempt to find the perfect blend of fit, culture and success.

While no one source would indicate which agency was hired (believe me, I tried very hard to get the name of the agency, and I will update it if it is given to me after this story is published), I was told that the agency was heavily involved in the process, much to the chagrin of Fletcher and the hockey operations staff.

One source told me Fletcher wasn’t as high on Tortorella as others were and would have preferred a different kind of coach, however, the search committee identified his leadership and accountability skills as being so off the charts that he would be an ideal fit for the Flyers situation.

Normally a team has to lose before they win. I agree with your post above mostly because of Niemi. But don't forget the hawks dusted the bolts in 2015, then they got swept by the jackets, then they went on their run. I wouldn't be surprised if the Avs face something similar.

Nick 23, Ladd and Buff 25, not really they were just entering their prime years.

Who knows what happens going forward, that's why i love this game, coaches make adjustments and all of a sudden the Rangers can't generate poop.

I do agree about losing but maybe they've done enough losing in the playoffs the previous years. But maybe they'll get Kadri to come back and run over 88. It's never easy to knock off the champ usually takes a great team to do it.

One thing i can't help think about is how much depth the Blues had and the Avs just made them look bad.

St. Louis might have depth, but does not come close to Tampa's top talent of Hedman, Stamkos, Kucherov and Point, let alone Vasalevsky is not on the same planet as Billington or Husso.

One thing is for sure, these are the two best teams in the league. The two best teams don’t always meet up in the finals. There’s no doubt that Vasilevskiy is a much better goalie than Kuemper, so the Avs will have to bring their A game to win the series, I hope they do.

The one thing that stood out to me is that (at least for the first half of the game) Colorado's passing accuracy and speed allowed them to break down TB's defense. I think if they can continue to do that, it will keep giving TB fits.

This is not to say that I'm counting TB out or that I don't think they can win, I just think that one aspect is a driving determinant of this series.

I don't if this is true or not but rangers supposedly have inquired about debricant, like 31 others teams gave or will, and a rumored trade proposal was mentioned has anybody seen or read about this? Just curious what a trade would look like between the two teams.

I really do not doubt there are 31 teams that want a goal scorer lie DeBrincat, but the true contenders in acquiring him will need real solid offers in draft picks and youth, and there areproabbly teams that imagine THIS trade finally electing them to the next level in the NHL echelons....

Agree with some good calculated trades that net sssignificant pieces coming back and hitting on a numerous players in the draft and development of young players it could be a short rebuild. But the things I stated are a lot of ifs and everything would line up and luck would have to be involved. As long as Davidson and company have plan and vision on how the team should be and stick to plan time will only tell where the hawks will be in the coming years imo.
