5 on 3 didn't help, then a great forecheck led to a DOG penalty, it's bad enough playing the Avs 5 on 5, man advantage is ridiculous.

And no goalie in the league stops the Sergachev goal that was a perfect shot

The other thing i noticed when the Avs established possession the Bolts sank 3 guys inside the house to block shots.

88 played a really good game imo, Kuemper was kind of bad but he only had to worry about half of the zone most of the night

The Avs should win the series, however you never count Vasilevskiy or the champs out. I would think the analytical stats will look a little different when Tampa is at home. Although I live <80 miles from Tampa, I want the Avs to win it this year, don’t want to see a threepeat.

Like Ogi, I’m not a fan of the Russian players, however they have every right to play in the the best league in the world, and we have every right to see the best players in the world play in the NHL.

2nd goal i believe was deflected off defenders stick because 88 went to use his glove and the puck on the replay actually looks like it's trajectory is downward, don't know anyone with a downward shot in the league.

Agreed shaky start by 88...2 weak goals on the 1st, 2 for his standards, and a 5 on 3...after that he was pretty solid. The advantage in net is so far tilted to the bolts it's comical. Kuemper is a sieve. Might be the worst final goalie since the tandem Philly rolled out in 2010.

If 88 does his thing, the Avs will need 50+ shots a night to win this series, OR cash in at a high rate on the PP because their run n gun style leaves that D on an island and a swiss cheese goalie left holding the bag. Fun to watch, but like Edmonton it's a massive weak link for them.

If A hawks goalie let in either and/or both he would be blasted. They were weak for an all world goalie. he will be better and the Avs could be in trouble once he is.

Oh no doubt but, remember that Andrei Andreyevich Vasilevskiy had a stinker in game 1 against the Rangers too and then got in the zone the remainder of the series.

If the Bolts lose I doubt it will be because of him.
