I just don’t know what to expect in Nils trade. I’m not sure we’d do much better than Poehling. He’s cheap too, add to the center depth. They have Jake Evans too, hes probably a better player. I want size for Panarins center, that would make it easier for him

Poeling has size but he isn’t a physical player. He’s just not a good hockey player. I’d rather get a 2nd/3rd round pick for Nils than add someone just to add them.

I still say go get Dach. The reports are out there that he’s available, he fits what we’re looking for, a big, physical, young center. Put him on a line with Panarin and Copp or whoever we put there if we don’t resign Copp. I’d bump Kreider down to the 3rd line and let teams try and match up with the lines.

Servelli saying AZ is going to trade Crouse this off-season. Crouse and Kreider on the 3rd line would be dominant. Crouse is 6’4 215 and Kreider is 6’3 225. Add Dach at 6’4 200+ and that’s a huge line that can skate and score.

i didn't read the full article but the headline said that said the lightning aren't using it as an excuse, so i'm assuming the sports media is using it as an excuse just like ESPN used the whole rusty excuse.
