I just LOVE Cooper MELTING DOWN |

TJ, we need a better center than Roy. I’d be all for getting Dach and letting him grow. I think he’s definitely a change of scenery type of player.
Panarin Zib Kravtsov
Laf Chytil Kakko
Kreider Dach X (someone with size and plays physical)
Goodrow Rydahl Blais
The 3rd and 4th lines have a ton of size, play physical and can put the puck in the net. I could care less Dach was 34% on the dots this year. If he’s really available you go get him. |

Zib was over 50%, who knows what Rydahl is, Goodrow for his career is over 50%. If Chytil and Dach were both in the 40’s who cares, they’re young players that will get better. |

Yea nah. Othmann is an untouchable imo. Dach didn’t excite me then and he doesn’t now lol
I thought the idea is getting Chytil more ice time. We need a 3C for right now. I don’t think we can trade for a 2C, I don’t want to trade any of the forward kids |

One thing that caught my eye on Roy was in that playoff year he was 56%. 19 games. |

Faceoffs plz thx - picklerick Lol...They aren't THAT important. Just for reference, Malkin is a career 44% and never broke 42% any of our finals years. In fact I believe we won a cup or two with him under 40%. Even Sid has been under your 54% threshold the majority of his career ![](https://hbcf.s3.amazonaws.com/images/emoticons/lol.gif) You might be aiming just a bit high. |

Faceoffs are pretty meaningless in the regular season, but just as important in the playoffs. They wouldn’t post the stats on tv every 5 minutes if they didn’t matter |

All I’m saying is we need one guy we can rely on for important faceoffs. Not that we need 4 faceoff specialists. Its not the only thing we need but we do need to sort our 2c situation and I’d prefer that guy to be good on faceoffs. Mika was decent. Strome, chytil, Rooney were bad. That’s not ideal |

Problem is the rangers have a tough time getting possession of the puck. One reason is they are terrible at faceoffs. As a team they got better this year but they really do need someone to count on in those crucial spots
Besides what else could we be bytching about, nothing |

I still think if Dach is really available you get him, and we’d be dealing from a position of strength to address a position in need. |

It’s pretty good time to be a fan when our biggest complaints are faceoffs and Dryden Hunt
Perspective fellas
I really have no idea what happens behind Shesty tho. Huska? Wall? I think an older vet is perfect, for like a million bucks. Maybe someone with 50 playoffs games type of thing |

I could see them signing an older vet and giving Huska a shot as well. |

Also a Center's % is only about 2/3's on him(unless your name is Bergeron), and 1/3 on the wingers. Key to good faceoff numbers is wingers getting a hold of the even draws. Something all your 21 year olds can certainly get better at.

do you actually have experience watching him and seeing something that hasn’t made it to the scoresheet yet? I don’t really know anything about him other than what you can see from his stats or that he was drafted #3. What’s with the sudden obsession |

I can remember probably a half dozen shifts going complete cluster(frank) just because we lost the faceoff. It’s not the biggest issue but if we’re getting a center he may aswell be good at it lol |

Been posted numerous places, Friedman recently wrote about it as well. I think it’s a change of scenery thing more than him not being a good player. He has size 6’4 and plays with an edge. Exactly the type of young center we should add. |
