Adams is the kind of guy that doesn't want to be the smartest guy in the room, which is a huge benefit to this team. They scraped together Quinn, Peterka, Bloom, Nadeau, Kisakov, Poltapov and Rosen. Some strong drafting on the early returns and that was done without a full staff.

Absolutely right.
To augment that aspect; they have invested heavily in an Analytics Dept, with this being the 1st off season to leverage that investment. Still, I don't believe they will make major moves in acquiring but more than 1 or 2 players via Trade and FA.
However, as I have expressed previously; this upcoming season will likely be used to evaluate their young players, especially the F group. Hopefully, their newly built Analytics system will help the FO in those evaluations to make smart decisions.
