Valeri Nichushkin would be a hell of an addition to the Sabres.

He's a monster. Almost a Tuch clone.

Don’t need him….. not the season to add talent……..

The Avs have won despite goaltending.

Whoever signs Francouz will regret it.

Rumors of a sports hernia. Have they ever confirmed that?
- Powerslave

I don’t think so. Because you can’t rehab that injury. I’ve literally had a sports hernia for the last year or so. It sucks.

Not an option. The entire front office is focused on VO's potential arb hearing.

Agreed.

There’s limited openings on the roster however we need to draft every pick because there’s so many holes.

It’s simple

Nichushkin is a Tuch clone.

5 years at $6M-$6.5M per. Go get him.

Stop worrying about paying their own first, for (frank)s sake.

Rather have him than Vinnie, for sure.

$6.0 m -$6.5m just seems a bit rich though, I know the Twins project 7 @ $6.4m; so your numbers are in ballpark. He plays alot with MacKinnon, Ratanen, Kadri, Toews, Makar...pretty, pretty good teammates

If VO is projected at 4 × $4.95 and had similar points playing through an injury with lesser teammates ... Asplund, Tage, Skinner, Mitts, Dahlin,

Idk, the extra $2 -$2.5m just seems steep to me even though he brings more to the table...his points will likely drop IMO.

So, are they paying for past performance with CO, or their protected future with BUF?
Edit: this past season's production is such an outlier for him, 2x other years.

Would LOVE to get him though.

He's a physical monster.

If the team needs another player like Tuch, and they do, he's it.

He's about way more than points and has a much more well rounded game than Olofsson.

I am on the Crouse train in this aspect, if he's still available. Cheaper younger option who can bring it to.

They need another player similar to Tuch, and preferably two.

I believe Peterka plays like that.

Adding one more is key.

He's finally found a coach who plays him to his strengths

If there's a player who's going to sign team friendly deal I think it's him
