no no. the race was in new york. but even on tv my horse was so far behind that he barely ever made it into the camera shot. at one point he was second to last.

the good news is the trashy betting place was nowhere near as packed as it was for the kentucky derby so we grabbed one drink each, made our bets, and got the (frank) up out of there all inside of 40 minutes.

oh, and i had the prime rib dip sandwich at applebee's and it was pretty good.

turns out they have good fries too. and when i was panicking as i read all the draft beers were miller lite and coors lite, etc. i found that you can get dogfish head 60 minute ipa bottles, so that was nice. if you're only gonna offer one good beer that's a pretty good one to offer.
