My opinion on Strome has definitely changed.

There was a time and a place for him to step up, he did for a flash, and now it’s time to mutually move on. He’ll be a Brassard type of player the rest of his career. Decent point production, average defensive player, good locker room guy, not the right player to win with and not worth the contract.

At least brass came up big in big games. Strome flounders in big moments. He wasn’t a bad ranger by any means but it’s time for an upgrade
