Putting panarin with Bergeron n goodrow would kill his production I’d play goodrow with laf n chytil n panarin with krastov n Bergeron

Whatever line idc lol just would like that kind of summer. I think Bergeron tho is the perfect fit for this time in the rebuild. Like the last piece kind of thing. Almost like messier was. I would do cartwheels if they landed him. But is he retiring? You’d think we’re appealing to him too. Less of a role, more of the D shutdown guy. Contending team obviously is huge for his willingness. I mean we’re in the ECF ffs. Would be a coup for Drury to get him

it's hard to believe Bergeron would leave Boston, I think it's retiring or staying with Boston

I think Gorton still loves Lundkvist and Nils and Montreal will be a thing, maybe even just for picks

I know but at the end of their last game he did this whole goodbye thing it looked like. He’s only 36, would surprise me if he retired.

Drury will pitch him hopefully

Well free agency is going to start very quickly once this is over. They can’t wait around for Bergeron. If he is truly an option it needs to be known quickly. This isn’t like last 4 years where we got to wait 2 months for off-season to begin

I don’t think Jones or Nils have a spot here long term. The same way Schneider took over I think Robertson is going to do the same. 6’4 215 and plays physical. They were partners in the AHL and the reports were both looked good, so far it’s been true for Schneider, let’s see if Robertson can make the jump also.

Man. A Flyers fan, and this one in particular, coming in to be the voice of reason here. We are certainly on our last thread. Might need to mainline some of the good stuff Saturday night!!!

jk MJL! Thanks for the friendly words!

You could be a Flyers fan and root for an organization that is completely incompetent with no clue how to run or build a team in the modern day NHL.

The top 4 on two years will be

Fox lindgren
Miller Schneider
Robertson

One of Nils or jones could be on 3rd pair. Trouba will have to be moved bc they need that money for Laf and miller

I still find it hard to believe they'd trade both Jones and Nils, but you never know

I just think Nils fell out of favor and they may be looking to move him, just gut feeling

but I think they like Zac Jones, I think that was one of the lures to signing Bobby Trvigno, that they are buddies.

Anything can happen, but I think Zac Jones is still gonna be here competing for a spot at camp

I could see him being here for camp maybe, but I don’t think he’s in the long term plans.

what I do think is that K'Andre Miller has become such a force that there will be no thought whatsoever to acquiring an impact defenseman this summer

so TJ should probably put away his Chychrun dreams

GG says he is considering "changing the look" of the team for Game 6. Sammy Blais is not an option, however.

It’s not like Chytil had 7 goals in 72 games or anything like that. I mean he was terrible 🤷🏻‍♂️

He needed to come alive in the playoffs, and he did. I’m not pissed about it I can tell ya that much lol

when he was hurt it was a wrist thing and I think it really hampered him even when he came back

and actually, thats the same kind of thing that was bothering Kakko

I dont want this to end tomorrow, but I cant wait to see them next year

What happened last night reminded me a little of the Flyers in 1995 in the ECF vs. NJD. Team in the playoffs for the first time in years, now on a great playoff run. Series tied 2-2, game 5 at home, game tied late in 3rd period. And then the bad guys score - in the Flyers case it was with about 45 seconds left. Just heartbreakingly awful. Then lost game 6 on the road to end the season.

One big difference here is that the Rangers have already won 5 elimination games in this year's playoffs, including 2 on the road. Yes, they're going up against a team with a huge amount of playoff experience and moxie, but who knows?

the Rangers were in this exact spot 7 years ago vs Tampa in ECF

down 3 games to 2 after losing game 5 at MSG, then stormed into Tampa and won 7-3 and forced a game 7 at MSG, but they didn't show up to game 7
