Well free agency is going to start very quickly once this is over. They can’t wait around for Bergeron. If he is truly an option it needs to be known quickly. This isn’t like last 4 years where we got to wait 2 months for off-season to begin

I really dont understand what the hell they were thinking, it's one of the craziest moves a team has done

I mean, maybe buy out one of em, but geeeeez

Rangers have 3.4 mllion in dead cap from buyouts this coming season and then they are FINALLY done with all buyout hits

when he was hurt it was a wrist thing and I think it really hampered him even when he came back

Series tied 2-2, game 5 at home, game tied late in 3rd period. And then the bad guys score - in the Flyers case it was with about 45 seconds left. Just heartbreakingly awful. Then lost game 6 on the road to end the season.

One big difference here is that the Rangers have already won 5 elimination games in this year's playoffs, including 2 on the road. Yes, they're going up against a team with a huge amount of playoff experience and moxie, but who knows?
