Unfortunately I was only 5 in ‘94, and although I vaguely remember it most of my time as a fan has been getting my hopes up followed by extreme disappointment.

These playoffs were different. Went from being really happy about getting out of round 1 and getting the kids experience to truly believing they could do it. After that 1st period its feeling like another let down on its way. Hope they find something here obviously.

The rangers had a playoff spot locked up in January. How is that a fringe playoff team? Unless you base it off of some “insiders” preseason projections lol

I will say it a million times, development isn’t linear. The rangers could keep getting better every year and win 5 presidents trophy’s in a row. It doesn’t mean they will ever sniff the ECF again. Can’t waste opportunities like this

Rags have to push back. If all three periods are played like the first, then the Lightning are probably going to win. I expect to see some push-back.
