I'm always suspect of overaged Junior players who dominate especially the ones who aren't the greatest skaters. Not saying he will be a bust but I'm not expecting high end scoring numbers in the NHL. Would be a nice surprise though

I’m a skeptic with pretty much all prospects(first round picks or otherwise)till they prove otherwise. The odds aren’t exactly great. |

I don't disagree with u.. but until they get whole it won't happen. Especially with a new Virus pending every election year. Monkey pox .. imminent. - niteislander
They’re going to have to come up with something else everyone is laughing off the monkeypox thing |

Torts to the Flyers. He’s going to get them going. The Metro will be even more competitive than before if that’s even possible. - nyisles7
Had my fingers crossed when I read that Cappy got an interview. |

This avs team is just another level and they have the second most cap space at 21 million. They are winning multiple cups.
7 0 and they are still relentlessly forechecking, fastest I can remember seeing a team play |

I was saying the exact same thing last night. Crazy speed along with skill. I have not seen a team execute that beautifully at that speed over and over. I think the Rangers are the closest as far as being able to tweak the lineup and match. We desperately need speed.

For me its the leafs they have high end skill and took tampa to the limit they need a piece or two to make a deep run. I've never seen a team.play that fast and execute over an entire 60 ever, even the analysts said they had never seen it. |

Agreed.
Pretty impressive display of speed and talent by the Aves last night. Ready at the drop and didn’t let up until the final whistle.
Sakic took a lot of heat for a couple years but he certainly put together a real good team and staff. |

Nope, hard enough to come on here and read the daily diarrhea let alone a blog of team I don’t follow. |

I am thoroughly enjoying the fudge pounding that Toews and the Avalanche are forcing upon the Bolts. |

Could an Anthony Beauvillier trade get the Islanders needed help on defense?
I hope Lou threads the needle perfectly and this team's able to go on another run next season. But, man, it wasn't long ago we were talking about using our surplus of defensemen to trade for needed scoring up front. We never really got that boost in scoring despite moving d-men out, and now we likely have to trade forwards to replace the d-men.
Decent depth is really the only strength this team has left, so if they start chipping away at that, there better be something good to show for it! |

Much needed help on defense as if the offense is fine? If only the defense was better this year
The Islanders have a new building and they finally have to be able to sign a top FA. Excuses are over. |
