mr.peanut is obsessed with Josh Anderson, let him have this. - Pat1993
I'm more obsessed with the mythology that surrounds him.
You would think the Anderson who played in Columbus and the guy who plays in Montreal aren't the same person. |

I don't see NJ moving that pick, but it's going to take a trade centered around a young guy who will be at least equal to how they project the guy they like at #2 is. |

if they could just go ahead and pick a bust with that pick that'd be super, thanks. |

Then why would that team trade it for a project at 2 that might be as good as that piece one day? |

because they'd want a player that is ready or closer to ready to take top minutes now. |

NJ, yes. Read again. Why would the other team do that? Just keep the sure thing, no? |

that depends, if they believe the player they're picking has a higher ceiling, and they're not in a hurry to win, it could make a lot of sense. |

his point is that anderson isn't that player, pat. plus, he has played a full season once in his career. he's 28. he is what he is as a player. |

I don't think I was talking specifically about Anderson with deadpoulet, but oh well.
let's all just say Anderson sucks, so that everyone can finally feel better about this. |

That's not how peanut framed the trade. But I guess two teams can view the same player in differents ways.
NJ is not trading that pick anyway. |

there is no such thing as 2 players being equally talented, there's always one that is slightly better, but yeah it's all pointless because I don't think they'll end up trading that pick either. |

this all started because NJ want a winger, ready to play. in this draft, there's alot of centers, not many wingers beside Slafkovsky.
so if Habs pick Wright, cool, NJ can draft Slafkovsky.
but what if Habs draft Slafkovsky? then NJ are (frank)ed. they do not need a center. then maybe they could want to trade their pick for an active player. |
