Hard to say, I think the team wants to keep him, but it'll be if Miller can be convinced to take a short term deal for not much of a raise. Maybe 60/40 on him gettting traded.

I also agree, I also think that for all Miller's talk about loving Vancouver and the team and wanting to play here, he'd probably want to go to a team that's closer to winning and get paid like a superstar. That's not going to be Vancouver, at least in the near future, maybe 4-5 years from now.

Thats not promising parameters and given the money spent on the backend where there is a tonne of deficiencies then it just doesn't make sense to keep him.

I would loathe a trade....I just don't see a better way with less resistance to balance the needs of the team.....but I'm a jackass, so who knows....

That's why I don't understand all the angst? He either signs here for a fair term or we trade him for players/prospects/picks that might speed up the process.
