Correct. This is not the go for it year. Sorry. I hope they spring for it one year, but it’s not this year. They should try to get some vets, but GM is doing a great job. He has to get some solid players added, but no swinging for the fences.

Good Hockey teams don't stop collecting talent because there afraid of blocking there prospects, if there good enough they will find a spot for them. Just gives you more usable assets or trade chips

Their top 4 D are most likely set, whether you think Joker is a top 4 or not, they seemed to like the job those 4 guys did together at the end of the year.

They're going to get their goalies, but they can't sign anyone right now.

Ya I agree that people have the right to be mad. I am in the minority but I’ve been saying for a long time this seemed like his plan and I am loving how he’s developing, evaluating and not going crazy with high end FAs or dumb trades.

See what you got first. And then make your moves. This is essentially a brand new rebuild, past has shown don’t rush it.

Well let me tell you, if your in your mid 50's and think you can still party like your 23, well it doesn't end well. I am actually on the back deck, trying to stabalize. Going down to the beach here in a bit, having a bon fire a couple houses down. Think it might just be a weed night, but will see.

this franchise needs to have meaningful games after the deadline

this franchise needs to take another step or 2 forward to compete for a playoff spot

this franchise needs dahlin to want to sign a long term extension next summer

this franchise needs to use the salary cap wisely to compete with the bigger markets

I look at those two teams, especially Tampa, and see that Buffalo's forward group, even if everyone meets expectations, which never happens, isn't anywhere good enough.
