I do too, though I think "to make a living" is a bit of an exaggeration. Most of the guys going over already have comfortable incomes. This is about using their talent to make obtain more available money, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I have expectations in goalie. I think every Sabre fan has a right to be irate if they don't spend on a real goalie. Everything else is a pipe dream.

Would all of us be shocked really though if Terry went nuts and told KA to offer max deals for a forward or two? The guy has spent money for this team many times.

Even that's a bit misleading, though. When you're talking about pure tournament winnings, yes, that's true. What that doesn't factor in are sponsorships and whatnot. Just about every player on one of those tours that's not an amateur has one, albeit not as lucrative as the top tour guys. Does it make you a millionaire? No, but we're not talking about broke college kids here.

Still, to your point, why play on a tour to lose money week to week, when you can almost guarantee yourself to end up in the red in a different one? It's about being smart, not survival, which, again, is okay. That being said, the LIV tour is putting out lucrative amounts of money to draw players in. That's not going to last. If this takes off and becomes a fixture in the professional golf world, those entrance and appearance fees will decrease dramatically. Otherwise, it will go bankrupt.

Also, Dustin Johnson just officially resigned from the PGA Tour.
