At 9, 16, and 28?
I’d be very happy with that. - PrinceChill
Ty Nelson at 41 I'd be fine with shutting the draft down, call it a day. That would be a hell of a W.

here's an example who was the anti- Jamie Benn. Quality in the D zone, absolute tomfukkery in the Ozone. Like horrendously bad. Foligno has recently claimed that coaching was partially to blame for his awful season.
"It wasn’t just the young players who slumped their heads under Cassidy’s watch. Some of the veterans, according to a source familiar with the situation, questioned whether Cassidy’s way with the youngsters was good for the room. Dissatisfaction also touched individual performance. Nick Foligno, the team’s second-oldest player at 34, did not see eye to eye with Cassidy regarding his fourth-line deployment.
“I felt that both the message and how it was being delivered — and, more important, how it was being received — young and old,” Sweeney said of how Cassidy fell short. “That’s where I referenced both younger and older players and taking ownership of it, as I would and I do with where our roster’s at and the changes I ultimately have to make. I think the players felt they were very well prepared. But at times, young and old, they struggled. Sometimes that’s the voice that’s in their head. Ultimately, I had to make a decision that takes us in a different path.” - TheSabresTaco
We can, should and demand to do better.
Why is this board concerned with filling Bottom 6 spots?
Let's spend the interweb's ink on G and RhD options! |

it's all important to varying degrees. A great bottom 6 keeps our poopty goalies from having to field a vast amount of quality shots.

Alrighty then. .
Asplund, Girgs, Okposso, Vinnie ( I guess according to Adams rumblings), R2, one of Couzins/Krebs/Mitts, and Bjork as 13

Just trade Girgensons and I like Vinnie but he doesn't need to come back. Bjork is just well Bjork all skating and no Hockey IQ or hands |

Someone is gonna drop to 9 for the Sabres. Savoie, Kemel, or Gauthier. - PrinceChill
I have no interest in this draft unless number 9 is being traded for chicorin |

I'm right there with you ... the impact of the slight upgrades made to each is very low however, IMO.
I couldn't really care if the do or don't.
Figuring out who the G and D targets are is much more interesting, imo. |

On Puljujarvi, I would think a roster player would be going back their way, and I think it would have to be multiple pieces, and doesn’t need to include Olofsson and can include Bjork.
Puljujarvi, Kassian
For
Bjork, Girgensons, Bryson, 3rd

Savoie, Gauthier would be good adds, as would Yurov IMO.
Intriguing bits and pieces with the 3 picks.
But yes, not like The McEichel or Dahlin drafts. |

If we want to talk Girgensons, it should be about the return they should get from a SC contender at the TDL next year.
Nick Paul's value is probably appropriate.
NHL-ready Prospect and a 4th. |

I like it, can GMKA please make this happen, Me thinks Jesse can be the replacement for the Skunk. I think in the right situation he can get you 25 & 25.
But sadly I think it is going to cost more then 3 crappy players and a 3rd. |

No it means that his play was not a net positive for Buffalo. This year, he was ranked as 880th most useful forward in (expected) overall helping your team win and 771st in actual overall helping your team win. So, he did better than his play warranted. Which says you're higher than the median, and leads us to believe he'll be as crappy or worse next year. Players like Owen Tippet, Mark Jankowski (put it away Boss), Jamie Benn, Ben Chiarot and Josh Manson were equally as crappy for their teams overall.
However, it's important to note that some players have roles on their teams. All of their stats may average out as "crappy" but sometimes the right deployment will prevent them from being a complete detriment. Jamie Benn, for example, was a quality player in the offensive zone, similar to VO. Unfortunately he was an absolute trainwreck when the puck entered his own end, which murdered his useful rates.
Bjork on the other hand.. was worthless. He provided nothing anywhere, except a pile of sludge on the ice, doing nothing. - TheSabresTaco

What would cause you to think his production would increase in moving away from McDavid and Draisaitl, #'s 1 and 4 in league scoring? He played 98% of his time with one of them.
Tage, just a mere 54 spots down the list is the Sabres top producer would be his best opportunity.
Tage is no Draisaitl nor McDavid.
The math and logic just don't work. |

Remember when you spent the whole summer complaining about girgensons getting over paid by a few hundred thousand.
Good times
Now you swallow the entire Tampa bay Lightning teams' cocks at once.
