Would the Jabronis on here who said Manson was a bad trade idea please stand up
- jribout

He had no desire to play in Canada. So it doesn't matter.

I bet there were a lot of different trade ideas for Manson and not all of them were good ideas.
- Zezel

There were some who insisted he was bad period.

No I didn’t particularly want to. I just cannot remember who the gentlemen were who insisted for page after page he was near washed up.

At least what I said was true, and your obviously not a The Rock fan

- jribout

I like the Rock and Sock Connection.

But Macho Madness is still the best.

Okay I will reword my question. Will the fine gentleman who insisted on multiple occasions that Manson was pretty much washed up please admit they were about as wrong as those who suggested Muzzin should be benched for the playoffs.

True Non-Wedgie Story.

We used to host wrestling on our bar’s patio. Old time dudes like Shiek and Superfly Snuka etc. one year our GM thought it would be a good night to have the Wrestlers in for free drinks to draw a crowd on a quieter Wednesday night. All that happened was a packed bar, which was severely understaffed, and the wrestlers just giving drinks to everyone. Some poor 19 year old server was serving the Shiek’s table. He ordered a tray of drinks every 10-15 minutes. One time I told her he was going to have to wait. He kept pestering her and her me and I was losing my patience so I told her to tell him if he didn’t leave her alone I was going to come over and give him a Camel Clutch.

He sent back a personalized Autographed picture and a drink. He was actually a really nice guy.

Agree. Most likely from the Nuck cheering section. They duck in occasionally but only stay for a few minutes

While I'm not one to go on lengthy page after page rants I was someone who wasn't big on Manson at the deadline.

However, it's not like the leafs got nothing or made a bad trade. Gio fit in quite well here.

So far Manson looks good. I hope the trade changes his career path next year. I am always hesitant when someone has a good stretch. I mean Cheechoo hit 50 goals one season.

Man, he has some of the best. They are excellent. "Cream of the crop" is one of the best. I also don't know how Gene kept things so professional.

Now who's defensive!

To be honest, I thought of him recently and needed to bring him up because it's so funny. But I'm happy Manson is fitting in so well. Good for him.

Funny story one of his teammates told me that back in the day when they had the “OHL game of the week” Belleville was to be featured. The coach gave the players an early curfew so they weren’t partying the night before and looking like ass on TV.

This teammate got a call from Cheechoo’s billet in the middle of the night becauseJohn was so drunk he wouldn’t stop puking. Off to the hospital they went to get his stomach pumped.
The next day the players were crapping their pants because they figured John would just stink and they would get bag skated all week. Cheechoo scored 5 goals hungover as heck

Bruins didn't waste any time making adjustments. A team that addresses problems. Weird.

I am a fan of the Rock actually but it’s still an insult.

Agreed Manson has been very good
