Every second day?

I’d actually like to trade Horvat to Montreal for a 1st (Flames pick) & a prospect and re-sign Miller. But I’m not sure the organization feels the same.

I (and probably most here) agree with you. Trading Miller for a decent haul is one of the easiest ways to improve the depth of this team. As you've said, a no-brainer. Unless he's willing to sign a very team-friendly deal. Then we have to re-think that strategy.

It's a team of smurfs, including Miller.

Big blow for the avalanche.

“Avalanche star, Nazem Kadri had surgery to repair an injured thumb sustained in the hit by Evander Kane early in game 3. Kadri is unlikely to be available for the remainder of the postseason, but isn’t being ruled out officially.”

This is why the league is a joke. 1 game for taking a top player out of the round. Why don't more players do it?

Horvat fits the long term picture better than Miller. Both in age and salary most likely. It appears management feels that way by recent comments as well.

Accidentally on purpose take out McDavid or Shesterkin, see how those teams hold up.

I did not know this

“78 years ago today, June 6, 1944, James M. Doohan of Vancouver, led D Company of Royal Winnipeg Rifles ashore at Juno beach. He would be shot 6 times, survive and go on to become Scotty on Star Trek.”

Scotty's a drunk! Ran into him a couple of times over the years.

I know I’m in the minority but I like Kadri’s game. Need a whole lot of that on our soft as baby poo team. We used to have a team that other teams hated to play. Now, we are fun to play against.

We need toughness, speed, grit, Players that will fight for each other what have you. What we don't need is the dirty nature/stigma Kadri brings. We've done the whole Kesler/Burrows thing. Many ways to get top end tough talent without going down the Kadri road IMO. But having said that ironically watching videos of Matthew Barnaby today that guy was a mountain of entertainment lol.
