RDS wrote something on Cutter Gauthier. Seems like Brunet started something.
Then again, it's pretty much the same thing every year.
We will be in a better position to judge 5 years from now. - deadpoulet

yeah, Hughes is surely smart enough to stay away, especially when you're trying to build a new team culture. - Pat1993

I was talking about booing Hughes if he picked anyone other than Wright.
Booing Bettman is now part of the fun, even he likes it. - Scabeh
Yeah, I'm not against it, but If I booed, I'm not sure I would know why.
I don't think people will boo the gm at the draft, but you may see a few reactions if they pick somebody else than Wright.
Then again, if people pays 120$ to be there, they may feel like doing whatever they want to do. |

The more times goes by, the more I am happy with this HuGo leadership team... I really like what they are saying and trying to do. The next 13 months will be kinda fun to watch off the ice, but maybe not so much, on the ice. - Mashadar
I'm hoping watching the games won't be completely discouraging, not expecting anything but I want them to at least give a certain level of effort, and show a willingness to compete, even if they're losing a bunch of games.

his stubbornness to keep a team in Arizona is already enough to boo him. |

Imagine how many parents are regretting naming their kids Kalheesi or Daenerys today.
Both because of how the character acts in the last season and the fact everyone now hates GoT. - Scabeh
Jokes on them. I named my kid Khal Drogo and Zer's doing great! |

Social media wasn't as big, but I would imagine a lot of the kids named after Harry Potter characters right now are clicking the delete button and becoming John or Bob. |

Well Harry and Ron are still pretty standard names.
Little girls called Hermione however....

especially if those kids are transgendered... - Pat1993
My sister and brother in law decided to have a third kid and decided to not know the baby's sex.
While she was pregnant, we were chilling in their backyard when we asked the typical question "do you have any ideas for names yet?" And their main focus at the time was finding a gender neutral name so their kid could easily make the transition if needed.
Their favorite name for a baby girl at the time was "Claude".
While my girlfriend was pretty much in the "I'm gonna be polite and say it's a lovely name" camp. I made a point that the little girl would have to correct people her entire life because people would most likely assume she was a guy at first. Why on earth would you decide to impose that useless burden on someone when you have a million other names to choose from?
Now I won't pretend it was only this conversation that changed their mind, but let's just say everyone is very happy the little girl is named Flavie instead.

Just name them Jordan. My friend is still pissed that it became a gender neutral name because he's massively afraid of anything that might make him seem gay (a good Polish Catholic to the end). |

I knew a girl in high school named Claude and she was really cute, so perhaps I'm a bit biased but I don't find it's necessarily a bad name for a girl lol...
however, I do find trying to give your kid a neutral name just so that the transition would be made easier is a bit ridiculous, and is an example of when wokeness just goes too far. |

I'd say him being gay is almost a boring scenario these days.
