I can chalk the first goal up to rust, then they settled in and the game was even until the Rangers went into overdrive.
Definitely expect a tighter game with the same outcome.

I just want to say Jim that all sorts of negative things were said about why the Pens won cups when they did during the runs....Bettman, the refs, no Stamkos in 2016 ECF, etc but I can no longer remember most of the details of all that crap...but totally remember the details of the good times and highs from those runs, and of course the sweet, sweet ends of them.

The Rangers are playing great hockey but are you saying that playing backups and AHL starters the first two rounds of the playoffs is somehow not advantageous and is some kind of narrative? Colorado winning with a backup proves that?

Yeah the 2nd period was a clinic by the Rangers. I didnt see much of the 3rd in that game. Its crazy how I can fall asleep watching other team's playoff games but Pens games feel like Im OD'ing on caffeine or coke and I cant sleep win or lose after the game for hours haha

Does any fan really care how their team is getting wins? Everyone had the same starting point this season and these are the teams that made it. The players that are here, are here. The Rangers outperformed expectations and metrics all year against all teams and rosters. If your team now is hurt, not playing to potential - sucks to be them, plain and simple. Would anything really be different? Who knows, who cares - that's not reality. This is hockey. These are the playoffs. Nut up or shut up.
