Zib is on one of his hot streaks he has to just keep shooting.
Kid line is still going strong, Gallant needs to try to get them a couple more minutes.
The Rangers speed right now is giving Tampa fits.

Awesome we got those 2 wins, but Tampa is a hell of a team. Rangers can't sit back on the road, keep playing that upbeat tempo.

And for the love of god someone make the the idiot fans stop that dumbass chant.

I’d prefer a chant of “shoot high blocker” over and over lol

But I think I did say the Rangers need scoring from their third line in order to win in the playoffs!!

It truly is!!! We got one of the top 3 goalies in the world and 3 lines scoring!!! That is a recipe to win.

I think there were fans not giving them enough credit and I think there were overly optimistic fans during the year. I fell somewhere in the middle, figured they would definitely make the playoffs, but thought they might be a year or 2 away from really competing. Sometimes things just click in the playoffs and a team can surprise the hell out of people. Looks like that might be the Rangers this year.

Thats been the biggest thing of all. No one can come close to the skill/abilities to match up with our “3rd line”. We have a huge advantage with that as we’re seeing.

We said it all season about how they need to do more and here we are. Now Kakko looks like hes finding a new level too

I know this is of interest to you in particular and all on this board in general.
Will Cullye scored his 11th and 12th goals in the OHL playoffs championship round last night in the Windsor Spitfires 4-3 OT win over the Hamilton Bulldogs. That was Hamilton’s first loss this playoff season.

The addition of Copp and Vatranno, was the catalyst. Got 2 top 6 players that fit in seamlessly, Laf could stop getting moved around. Chytil and Kakko got healthy, boom, there is the 3rd line.

I'm not sure that scale is applicable to that many of us.

Was thinking about this last night..regarding the UFAs. I wonder if all or some take a small one or two year deal just to stay on the Rangers. I mean why on earth would you want to leave this team for another team right now maybe some kind of discounts.

It would be like willingly moving from Tahiti, to Coney Island haha

I am trying not to get to excited yet, If tampa holds serve at home we have a huge game 5 back in New York. Just have to find a way to win one of these next 2 in tampa

I started as a Rangers fan in 1955 when I was 7 years old. My grandmother would come over to babysit me and my siblings on the rare nights my parents would go out. She would wait until the car left the driveway and bring out the large canvas bag she used as her pocketbook. It was filled with candy and snacks and a bottle of soda. Always came the “don’t tell your mom” caveat. The she would turn the TV to channel 9 to watch wrestling from Bridgeport. There were times when wrestling was not on (“we don’t root for that guy, he’s dirty”) but the Shaefer Circle of Sports was, featuring New York Rangers hockey. My grandma was French Canadian, last name LaBelle, who always rooted for the original 6 Canadiens or Maple Leafs. Being the snot nosed 7 year old kid I was I always rooted against her team and for the team from New York. So my love of the New York Rangers began. Thank-you grandma!

A split is ideal. I would prefer if they lose a game in Tampa that it be game 3. Coming back home after a win in game 4 at Tampa could be all they need.
