I don't subscribe to the theory that the Rangers had an easy path through backup goalies. Every team still standing is deeper than one position. Breadman, Zib, Kreider, and Fox are nothing to sneeze at. Having Shesterkin in goal is just a bonus.

Lightning haven't faced a goalie like Shesterkin in these playoffs yet.

Vasi is usually money in these situations, so I hope that trend continues tonight.

I fully expect Tampa to be better tonight from top to JRR. And while I know Vasi is phenomenal, I think we have the guys and the swagger right now to solve him. My biggest concern is the pressure of the Tampa skaters and how we will manage the puck. If turnovers are the story of the game, we're toast.

If you guys can stay out of the penalty box, it will go a long ways towards taking this game. Tampa's PP has scary-good puck movement once they get set up.

If any Rangers fans come to Tampa for games, go across the bridge to the beaches and hit the Salt Rock Grill. BEST BURGER EVER. "Artisan Butcher Burger" made with short-rib and brisket. You will thank me. Their other stuff is very good also, but goddamm that burger is worth the drive and $15.
