If he's not, go Pickering. - Scabeh
I still think they will try very hard to move about 10 spots up...so that CGY pick plus another pick or prospect will be required. |

not a bad pick in late 1st, early 2nd if he turns out in Giroux type of player |

Most likely. At least it makes sense to think so.

A mid-first round pick would be great for sure, I hope they can make a deal to make it happen.
We have a ton of picks for the next 2 years, it's not about quantity at this point but quality. |

Always Bobby Mac, of course. - Scabeh
Button makes a list based on what he thinks is right.
Mac takes the opinion of several people and just compiles them into a list, they are not his opinion on what the draft list should look like.
So by default, the larger sample pool will likely be more reliable.
Regardless of what you think of Button or Mac.

I always loved that his list doesn't even have anything to do with his opinion. Just the cumulation of the scouts he talks to. - AdamFrench
And yet he gets all the credit for basically making a spreadsheet.

Well he gets the credit from having numerous sources around the league and making the god damn best list available on the internet.

Don't disagree. As I said above, the more knowledgeable people who provide input, the more likely it will balance out to something realistic where strange outliers do not skew the list.
Just saying a lot of people don't understand how Mac's list is created (even if he explains it every time he put it out there).
