I know it wont but I really hope this stops all the " lets trade a 20 year old first rounder" nonsense that was spewed all year. - Greschnergy#4
what definitely needs to stop is looking at stats around the league from other first round picks and deciding that our kids matching their numbers is what our kids success is based around
I've been pretty ok. If they win this series I will be a mess. I kind of looked at this playoffs as a growing experience and wasn't expecting too much. - mdw7413
My body won’t let me see it that way lol. Each year is different and teams don’t always progress year to year like we hope a young team will. Once we are in always want to win it all lol. Who knows if the team takes a step back next year or not.
Going to go back and read the blog and comments now, just thought I'd start by reposting what I put in the last comment section before noticing Jan's message about the new blog...
Classic line from Vally.

its never mattered and never will - jimbro83
I can care less if none score any goals next year during the season. They keep playing like this in the playoffs, all are just fine in my books

True but thats what I kept telling myself, its worked. Other than game 7 vs Pitt and the Canes I was pretty jacked

This is with the Kid Line only getting around 12 minutes a game where these other rookies on garbage teams getting 18-20
people calling Lafreniere a bust in January because he doesn't have as many assists as Stutzle, I was too nice to people - jimbro83
I tell you what, going forward if any team beats anyone with one of their players out hurt we have full reigns to say it doesn’t count or isn’t impressive. The team isn’t at 100%

well maybe they'll award us the 2015 Cup retroactively because we lost Zuccarello in round 1

We don't have Blais.... probably would have been 82-0 and 9-0 in the playoffs

It’s just ridiculous at this point. It bugs people so much the rangers are good that they have to make excuses and convince themselves that’s the only reason why the rangers are advancing. If I was on Twitter I would have trolled everyone after last nights game that said the rangers haven’t played a true goalie yet lol

I mean everyone has injuries and then we also find out after the playoffs all the players from different teams playing hurt. It happens every single year. The last time we played Tampa in the conference finals how many players were hurt? I think McDonagh was playing with a broken foot or something

Here on Toronto radio, yesterday it was the rest will be great for Tampa in game 1 with also facing a #1 goalie. This morning was Tampa was rusty and so was Vasy.

I think its great. All Gallant has to do is keep telling the players whats being said about them. Should be plenty of motivation
