Love how he's back to playing his game again. His breakaway goal the other night was vintage Kreider. Good to see him going hard to the net again. Whatever sports psychologist got him out of his own head deserves their name on the Cup.
- Fenrir

I think one of the biggest things that has helped Kreider is that the NHL cracked down on crosschecking, now they cant do anything about him in front of the net like they used to just crosscheck and hack him all game long

Hate to break everyones bubble but I had a dream last night that the Rangers lost game 6 to the Avs 3-1, at the Garden as the final goal was an empty netter!!!

you know how I know this won't happen?

Rangers and Avalanche has no chance of ever being a 2-1 game late in the game

I dont know why you are watching or dreaming since its too early for us to get to play for the cup! We have no chance, we are too young and having talent like Parnarin is a waste

That's true, but he's flipped a switch this year. He's going hard to the net like he's shied away from until this year.

Can't wait to se tonight's baseball score. It's unreal, but I expect tonight to be a bit tighter game.

Watched most of the game on my phone muted last night. At least got to see it.

What caused the scrum at the end of the game, and how did Miller get the only penalty for the PP? Looked like the Rangers were trying to be good and take punches to the face and still got screwed. Reaves could have gone Bull In A China Shop Mode and destroyed everyone but didn't.

- Fenrir

It was funny watching Reaves deal with Maroon.
Could lip read Reaves saying to Maroon: "you want to go? lets do this!" And then the linesman got between them and they could only scrum instead of fight. Reaves laughing at Maroon ( who was flat on his back at this point ) was a priceless image!

First, Domi embarrassed himself and now Maroon looking silly --- Reaves is worth EVERY dollar of that contract!

Oilers should forfeit tonight’s game rather than agree to play against a backup

I definitely heard a lot more about Brayden Point not playing for Tampa last night than I heard in 2015 ECF that we didn't have Zuccarello

Has anyone at all mentioned that Lindgren has been playing on one leg the entire playoffs? Or how we were missing Goodrow and are still missing Blais? And how Panarin is probably injured?

I feel like people look at the first 3-4 games against Pitt where the rangers had zero playoff experience and Lindgren missing as that being who the rangers are. Now they a little healthier, even though Lindgren has an injury scare every game bc of how banged up he’s playing, and have experience and are just flat out playing good hockey. This current rangers team would sweep Pitt in 4 if they redid round 1 now. That’s how much better they’ve gotten since then.

the anti-Ranger stuff totally emanates from the advanced stats craze and how we are a great team that totally defies it and it really bothers people

and people don't like how we got Fox, think the lottery to get Lafreniere was rigged, Kreider murdered Price, litany of issues

You know what makes the Trouba Crosby thing really funny…that was probably the turning point of the entire playoffs for them so far hahahaahah
They’re down in the game and series, and we know what happens

Every game has subtle turning points and last night that Vatrano back check was a huge one. It’s tied at that point and then he scores soon after. Trouba falls and we’re all thinking it’ll be 2-1..but Superman saved the day basically

I feel like in the CAR series and so far in game 1 the refs for the most part have been as good as we could expect. I thought they were horrible in the PITT series but thought they were very good in the CAR series.

The crazy thing about Gilbert is how many goals he had in the playoffs and it was only 70 something games. Kreider definitely gonna be the leader of the stat for awhile once he passes him.
- mdw7413

Way back then it was only a 2 round playoff system with 4 teams

There was actually only one year Gilbert made the playoffs under that system. He was mostly on teams where 8 teams made the playoffs

Your dreams are not wet or wild. I disapprove of your gypsy prognosticating.

Speaking of prognosticating...

Over/Under 8 goals tonight in the Edm-Col. I get the feeling it wont be as wild.

I’ve been winning a lot. I threw 100 on it being over 7.5 goals. It pays 210 🤷‍♂️
