They got goalied. The 5v5 stats were pretty close or favored the Panthers. Vasilevskiy and special teams killed the Cats.

I expect the Rangers to come out flying - high on their game 7 victory adrenaline and home crowd energy. Hopefully Vasi comes up big, keeps the game scoreless, and the Lightning can settle things down and start playing their game instead of reacting to the Rangers.

I'd love to see the Bolts score quick and take the crowd out of it early, but I am not counting on that by any means.
