Would be nice if they’d finally have their drop off
We’re getting ready to slide into their playoff spot

I'll be honest, I want Miro bad. Maybe not 9 bad, but if they don't feel he'll fall and can't move up, 16 would be just fine with me. He will be an absolute stud and steal wherever he's taken.

Miroshnichenko?
I’m seeing him go at the bottom of the 1st in mock drafts
He could be available with the FLA 1st

Seems like him having Lymphoma is dropping him in the draft

Maybe
He might not play in the NHL for years

As of now, still seems like a risky pick

Most guys at 16-25 won’t. And they’re all risky.

Good post

Now that the ship appears steadier, (Rochester winning) and the Sabres looking good, I'd be ok taking some chances on Russians or bounce back injured guys like krebs. You can't make those picks at the top of the draft, but maybe at 16?

I know nothing of the guy but we have three firsts. We are gonna need some guys that take some time to spread out the ELC.

Come on now
Having Cancer creates a significantly higher risk

Well sure
But this kid could get sick again & never play in the NHL

I’m not saying we shouldn’t take him
All i said is that it is risky- and it is

Argumentative to be. I’ll take the guy with upside that right now has a clean bill of health and allowed to resume his career who was considered a top 3 prospect pre diagnosis vs another guy who’s ability isn’t as good. Not to mention, he will definitely appreciate what he’s got more than the average player, and it could push him to be great. You wouldn’t. I’ll leave it there.

Political whatabout-ism. Just what politicians want.

Look how bad the other side is, if my side did that it would be everywhere.

Congrats, your all a bunch of idiots just following.

Enjoy your cults, hopefully they all have cyanide parties soon.

His recent health report may have removed some of the angst in picking him.
I'm all over the board on where he would be picked...maybe 30 more days brings clarity.

I'm no expert on it, and yes there is risk with selecting Miro.
Could be well worth that risk though.
Recent reports indicate it is the same cancer that Mario Lemieux had, was treated for, and played after.
"The 1992-93 NHL season provided one of the great moments not only in hockey history, but all of sports, when Mario Lemieux returned from cancer treatments to go on a torrid scoring spree to win the points race. "

I love the grandstanding the PGA Tour is doing about the new LIV tour being Saudi backed. They couldn't care less about what the Saudis do or don't stand for. They're butthurt that a rival league was formed, and are pretending it's about standards.

Brilliant minds!

I'm not sure where I would take him...definitely at 28, Probably not at 9, but might be talked into it with more info over the next 3 -4 weeks. 16 probably so, then cross my fingers, lol.

Yeah, getting him at a discount could end up working out great for us
All I’ve said is that it was risky

As i haven’t seen the medical reports, nor am i a doctor who could accurately tell what they meant anyways….
I just know it’s a serious thing that could have lingering effects or even come back
It won’t necessarily
But like i said, and ALL I’ve said, is that it makes him a risky pick

Depends on who else is available at those spots too

I don’t think i would at 9
I’d start thinking about it at 16, depending on what our doctors have to say
Would be tough to pass him up at 28
And i think I’d absolutely take the risk at pick 41
