It's what's holding Connor Geekie back, but skating can certainly be improved upon. Question is, can any one player improve upon it? Samuelsson had that question, and he did improve it. So did Corey Perry back in the day. Cody Hodgson is one guy that never overcame it.

Skill is natural, you pick it up top. Skill and speed is at the very top. Speed without skill is really nothing.

I'd venture to say there is alot more that goes into it...intangibles like:
Compete / Drive to succeed
Leadership
Intelligence / Processing Speed
Coachability


Those intangibles are likely relatively "fixed"; you either have them or you don't.
Speed/skating, shot can be improved, probably within a range.

I can't imagine Phil Boucher has much of a Sabres connection. I would posit that teams believe it's imperative to meet with their potential 1st and 2nd round picks. They even met with mid round kids.

Thanks! gonna try and get there a little early, like around 4:30. Hopefully the wait won't be too bad. I like hearing you like the consistency because that was my parent's complaint about EA. One time was really good, the next not so much. I've never been to either location.
