Look at you crying about people who won't play an NHL game for years and, in reality, have a small chance of being a game breaker, less than 10%. And, have an even smaller chance of being better than whomever the Sabres pick at 9. And, with the three picks the Sabres have, they could move as high a #1 if they really felt a desire to.
Have people learned nothing from tanking for Jackoff and not tanking for Sam Darnold or Baker?
You're literally pitching the female dog because the Sabres won games and you speak of "fans" as separate from w/e you consider yourself. You're not a Sabres fan. Everything about tanking and the people who root for it stinks and always has. - lacaprup
Look at you making your point on probabilities, and then throwing in an option that has 0.001 probability of occurring, lol.
As for tanking, looks good for the teams that got Matthew's, Crosby, MacKinnon, McJesus. |

The difference between 6 and 9 are mostly meaningless. Sure I'd rather have the 6th, but here's the 2007-16 #6 and #9 picks. While the #6 is slightly more top heavy, if I were picking out of a hat, I'd take the #9 hat....as long as its not out of a leafs hat.
Gagner, N.Filatov, OEL, B.Connoly, Zibanejad, Lindholm, Monahan, Virtanen, Zacha, M.Tkachuk
Couture, J. Bailey, Cowen, Granlund, Hamilton, Trouba, Horvat, Ehlers, Meier, Sergachev - Wanchuk
This totally excludes a central point...securing the player you want, and filling a position of need.
Else, you get "leftover".
But bark on. |

Been there, done that. Time to start winning.
Boston didn't need to tank. Neither did Calgary. Or St. Louis.
And when were Edmonton's, Toronto's or Colorado's last Cups? 32, 55 and 21 years ago, respectively. |

Doubt they will, but they have the D prospects to take over. If the Rangers decide to move Trouba, I wouldn't mind checking in - Buff36
Rangers will try and trade trouba when his ntc kicks in 2023 bc of cap issues. They have a lot of d prospects in jones, Robertson and nils who should be ready by then |

This is good news for him obviously, but for the Sabres as it may push another player down to them.
If the news is viewed by GMs as largely removing the health issue, then the Russian bias is all that is left.
Maybe Stevie Y jumps on it. |

I could see him being a problem as he’s made it a point he only wants to play in NY to be close to his wife (Dr I think?). Along with an 8M hit for 3 years. Right style of player tho. |

Tyrod Taylor:
3 yrs, 51 tds, 16 INTs, 8857 yards, 2,952 yards per year. 14 rushing TDs, playoff appearance
Ryan Fitzpatrick:
4 years, 80 TDs, 64 INTs, 11,654 yards, 2913 yards per year, 2 rushing TDs, no playoffs
the one playoff game vs the jags proves tyrod was way below fitz
that was one ugly game from a qb
Fitz, terrific guy, super fun, but man, Tyrod still gets the shaft in terms of his place in Bills history. - Hank Balling

Power, I totally understand, everyone knows I can't stand tanking, breeds losing. We all know lon, he just wanted a better chance at players that could really help are team. - Buff36

Yea he his full nmc turns into 15 team ntc. Rangers would have to eat money. I’m not a huge fan of trouba. Like his physical play but that contract is awful |

What dont you like about trouba?
Just curious, seems like a big hitter / team 1st guy.
Sure he's expensive |

He’s a great character guy and physical. He eats a ton of minutes.
That being said he’s not a great skater and probably the biggest defensive liability. He’s on the ice for the most goals against. Makes a lot of glaring mistakes. If he was making $5m a lot of those things would be acceptable |
