That is the point I was making.

The contract issue is separate, and I dont care to speculate either way as it serves zero purpose.

Ya, I was an early Jiricek proponent....but when the ratings were circling around 5 or 6 for him and the Sabres won their last 3 or 4 games to fall from 6 to 9... I knew it was over for him and likely for Savoie too.
The two guys I wanted them to get.
But hey, fans loved those 3 wins, wooooo-hooooie!!!

The difference between 6 and 9 are mostly meaningless. Sure I'd rather have the 6th, but here's the 2007-16 #6 and #9 picks. While the #6 is slightly more top heavy, if I were picking out of a hat, I'd take the #9 hat....as long as its not out of a leafs hat.
