I'm trying to not get too giddy, but f'n A, they are getting it done.
As a true Yankees fan, I'm waiting for the 14 injuries to happen. - Powerslave
Life is sooooo good when Gary Sanchez isn't catching any games for your team, Glayber plays 2B, and starting pitchers can pitch past the 5th inning regularly. It's like pre analytics Yankees. Maybe Cashman sent them all packing? |

I have a strong feeling that if the draft goes reasonably as expected, Gauthier will be the pick at 9. - TheSabresTaco
Take it and run. Still want Jiricek but he won't be there. |

Feels more and more like 16 needs to be used. Or trade down a few spots, pick up a 3rd round pick, then take him at 18-20. Once his prognosis and progress is made public, fans and management alike will know where to draft him. - TheSabresTaco
The Political climate may factor in to some degree as well. But your range is probably on target or damn close. |

Gotta play with the clown a bit, with him and the Jay's, it's a long season, by the end we will have 5 pitchers and half the outfield out. |

I hated Gary. That being said, I wish Higgy could at least bat his weight.
And trade Gallo. Twice.
But other than that, it's been a fun first 50 games. Watching Nasty Nestor and Taillon pitch is a true pleasure. |

I continue to want Savoie, but it is likely he goes in that 6, 7, 8 slot.
Gauthier would be solid. - IonSabres
I think I'd prefer Savoie, but Cutter is absolutely smothered in Play Like A Sabre-WTBH energy. His coach is also the brother of our AD of Amateur Scouting. |

Yeah, Hicks hasn't been good. He was yesterday, though. |

So you mentioned something along the lines of if the draft goes the way I think it will ... begs the question of how do you see the draft selections playing out? |

If he stays healthy and keeps going the way he is, and they wait until the end of the year. It was gonna be a big deal already, could cost Cashman his job. |

Agreed. It could cost him his job if he loses him, too. |

Nah. Judge bet on himself, and it looks to be paying off in spades. Hank will buck up. If the Yankees win a WS they'll sell 4 million tickets next season (sans a new plague). |

Bills signed WR/KR Tavon Austin.
Set to play for his fourth team in four years, Austin now heads to Buffalo to join the Bills. Last season with the Jaguars Austin totaled 24 receptions for 213 yards and one touchdown, hauling in his first touchdown pass since 2019. While it may be difficult for Austin to see offensive snaps in a crowded Bills receiver room, he could contribute as a returner. He has fielded just five punts over the last two seasons and hasn't returned a kick since 2017. - SABRES 89
could be a nice sneaky good signing |
