It can’t compete against the SC playoffs.
So there is a time change…and everyone in NA focused on the cup.
But this team (and previous teams) would likely finish mid-pack or higher in NHL regular season
This team actually isn’t a deep as other but how many teams would like to start with Barzal, Dubois, Lowry down the middle and have Chabot anchoring the D.
Add guys like Batherson etc.

yeah you're right about the timing, I wish the tournament would start right after the NHL playoffs are over but unfortunately international hockey doesn't revolve around North America's schedule... and I agree Canada has a fairly decent roster all things considered, it should be an interesting gold medal game tomorrow.
