If Gaudreau signs in Calgary, the team will be pretty much intact with additional good players coming our way. If Gaudreau signs somewhere else, then it will be the start of a rebuild for the Flames. It all depends on Gaudreau's decision over the next week. Go Flames Go - hockey4hockey
I think it depended on Gadreaus decision he made 3 years ago that he was going to leave after his contract was up. |

[quote=ShooterMcGavin]E4 the Flames are brutal and went all in 2 years in a row to win with Johnnie Hockey, they lost the series to a better team and lost anything they could have gained by trading Gadreau. If I was a Flames fan I'd probably start looking for property in Houston or Kansas City if you wanted to go to their home games in the next few years.

Always a tough way to lose a hockey game, but unfortunately the Oilers were just the better team. |

Hilarious. Every team feels that they, specifically, are unfairly targeted by the league / refs. Talk to Rangers fans - they were saying the exact same nonsense after they dropped the first couple of games vs Pittsburgh in the first round.
There’s no bias. But if manufacturing some type of league-backed conspiracy helps you to get through this, have at it
Also, I watched that replay several times. Certainly looked like he kicked it in

Good job Trevor.
Are the referees, according to the rule book, even allowed to over turn their own on ice decision, after it remains unchallenged? |

After hear Gaudreau and everyone speak about it, I went from thinking it was 60/40 he'd be back to thinking it's more 80/20. If the Flames make a competitive offer and go the full 8 years, I'm pretty sure he'll be back.
It's also pretty amazing how much Tkachuk had matured in the past few years. I can see him signing long term for less than 10 million a year now. |

I disagree they both want to make maximum money. The 8th year Is the only advantage for the Flames.
